I was feeling optimistic so I volunteered to take my nephew for the test for his Driver’s License. I have the reputation of being the coolest member of the family, and since my sister wouldn’t let me get him a drum kit, this was the least I could do. I should have noticed the signs. There were so many of them, literally and figuratively that I should have anticipated a minor disaster. My sister laughed and shook her head when I told her that I would take him. That was the reaction everyone had. On my way to pick him up I had to follow the signs for two separate detours, that lead me past two signs that said , “Do Not Enter” If that wasn’t enough of a cosmic sign, One of my nephew’s friends had put up a sign that said, “ Parking for idiots only.” Is there such a thing as too many signs?
