There are some things that just sell themselves. Chocolate, for example, needs very little marketing. French fries do not need much promotion. Basically anything that tastes good and is bad for you will actually jump out of the manufacturer’s production line and prance merrily into the consumer’s open, waiting arms. Other products, however, need a more well thought out marketing approach. I keep this in mind when I help coordinate my company’s trade show displays . This is a much more difficult job than it seems to be. It involves a lot more than just putting up a back drop and a folding table with flyers and pamphlets and magnetized business cards. Those are good ideas, but there is much more than that. As technology evolves, people expect trade shows to keep pace with it. It has gotten more and more obvious that I should work with a professional to make the best showing possible.
